MedSafety RN Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how MedSafety RN handles information. MedSafety RN is published by Anil Sadhoo.

1. App Purpose

MedSafety RN is an independent educational application that helps nursing learners practice medication-safety decisions through NCLEX-style questions and weak-skill repair.

2. Personal Data Collection

MedSafety RN does not require users to create an account. The developer does not collect, upload, sell, rent, or share users' personal information through the app.

3. Locally Stored App Data

Training attempts, progress, weak-skill records, preferences, locally cached Pro-access status, and issue notes are stored locally on the user's device.

This locally stored information is used only to provide app features, such as progress tracking, weak-skill repair, and saved preferences. It is not transmitted to the developer.

4. Issue Notes

Issue notes created using the Report Issue feature are stored only on the user's device. They are not sent to or received by the developer in the current version of MedSafety RN.

5. Purchases and Google Play Billing

Optional Pro purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. The developer does not directly receive or store users' payment-card information.

Google Play may process purchase, account, device, and transaction information according to Google's own privacy policies. MedSafety RN stores only the local information needed to recognize Pro access.

6. Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking

The current version of MedSafety RN does not use advertising, analytics, tracking SDKs, Firebase, or a cloud backend.

7. Data Sharing

The developer does not share user progress, issue notes, or other locally stored app information with third parties.

Google Play Billing independently processes purchase-related information when users purchase or restore Pro access.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

Locally stored app data remains on the user's device until it is removed by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app.

Clearing app data or uninstalling MedSafety RN may permanently remove locally stored progress, preferences, issue notes, and cached Pro-access status. Eligible purchases may be restored through Google Play using the same Google account.

9. Data Security

MedSafety RN limits data handling by keeping training information and issue notes on the user's device. Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their device and Google account.

10. Children's Privacy

MedSafety RN is intended for adult nursing learners and is not directed toward children. The developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Medical and Educational Disclaimer

MedSafety RN is an educational practice app. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Users should consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

MedSafety RN is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by NCSBN, NCLEX, nursing boards, schools, hospitals, or licensing authorities.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when the app's features or data practices change. Updates will be published on this page with a revised last-updated date.
